Kevin Koester, the President of Apex Steel, Inc. has been a member of the Northwest Ironworkers Local Union 86 for over 25 years. Apex Steel, Inc. and Apex Tower Crane, Inc. are members of the Northwest Ironworkers Employers Association.

Kevin is a board member for the Joint Apprentice Training Committee (JATC) where he has been able to see the best of new talent and have the option to hire them prior to most competitors. Kevin has also been able to represent the Northwest Ironworkers Local Union 86 as an employee delegate at national conventions, allowing him to meet with employers and union officers from around the country.
