Vancouver Grain Silo – Younglove Construction
The single car manlift was erected to a slip form that operated 24 hours per day, 7 days a week for 2 weeks. Apex was on call the entire duration and jumped every 1.5 days until it reached the top at 300’. |

Children’s Hospital – Sellen
A 7100 dual car hoist was erected to 60’ initially. It was subsequently jumped to follow the steel erection and allow access to the work deck for the ironworkers on the project. |

The McGuire Building – LVI
A single car hoist was erected 250’ to allow access for the demolition of the existing building. Custom doors were built to accommodate the existing window openings for ingress/egress of the building. |

UW Hospital Expansion – Skanska
A 7100 dual car was erected 9 floors that extended 19’-6” from the building edge for 5 floors. Custom engineered tie back extension were used by Apex along with bridge platforms that allowed the workers to access the hoist from that distance. |
