Apex had multiple crews working in multiple locations on this design build freeway expansion project.  Apex placed 1500 tons of reinforcing steel for bridge expansions, a new bridge and barrier rail along I-405. 

Apex traveled to Cordova, AK to repair this bridge that crosses the Copper River.  Originally built in the 1900’s Apex performed work underneath the existing bridge replacing barrier, drilled shaft, foundation, pier and pier cap – all while the bridge was in service. 

Through planning and coordination Apex decreased the deck durations by one day on this project, which ultimately led to delivering this project nearly one month ahead of schedule.  Apex was continually working on 3 decks, with two tower cranes on this project.  The result was 3500 tons of reinforcing steel installed in 2-14 story towers above 5 stories of parking. 

Apex placed over 4600 tons of rebar on this two 27 story condo tower project in downtown Bellevue.  Apex worked on the towers after placing the reinforcing steel for 5 floors of parking.  The 17,000 SF decks in the towers were completed in a 2.5 day deck cycle.  Pre-construction coordination with the design team redesigned the x-beam headers in cores to decrease the schedule impact. 

Apex worked on several different scopes on this downtown condo tower.  We provided labor to install reinforcing steel, PT cables, precast concrete, and roof steel.  We also provided the tie backs for the crane and a bellman on the project.  In total Apex installed 7000 tons of reinforcing steel on this 30 story tower with 9 stories below grade.
